J&L Unveils Safety Program J&L Precision Castings (Wauke-
sha, Wisconsin) unveiled its new Behavior Based Safety Training Program. According to a news release, Be- havior Based Safety Training is a “pro- cess that creates a safety partnership between management and employees that continually focuses people’s atten- tions and actions on theirs, and others, daily safety behavior.” Te release says “these programs focus on what people do, analyzes why they do it, and then applies a research-supported interven- tion strategy to improve what people do,” while involving all employees. Inspired by other programs and
after going one year free of lost time incidents, J&L was looking to aid in their efforts of zero incidents. J&L Precision Castings, a sand
caster providing complete-to-print alloy components, is owned by Pre- cision Castparts Corp. (PCC).
J&L has gone over a year without lost-time incidents.
