Product News New: Wiha torch with LED, laser &

UV light for professionals “And then there was light…” Following a detailed analysis of the market and needs, Whia is launching its

new torch to the hand-tool market. Equipped with ingenious, practical functions, including laser, UV light and a very strong LED lamp with two light levels, this new hand tool has a variety of uses and makes daily work easier in many respects. This practical little tool contains special features such as a retaining clip, magnetic positioning mechanism, and easy positioning and transmission of measurements, thanks to the swivelling light head and permanent laser function. Do you need to work efficiently in

poorly lit work environments? Even the most experienced professionals with the best equipment find this difficult. Hand- tool manufacturer Wiha is now extending its range to include a handy new, easy-to-use torch which it is not just useful when light conditions are poor. With a very strong LED lamp, and two distinct LED lighting levels, this

torch is suitable for a variety of work situations and light conditions. It includes a special L-shaped swivel head, making it easier to direct the beam, while a retaining clip and magnetic positioning mechanism allow for hands-free use. The integrated, press-button laser function proves really useful, providing detailed positioning and easy transmission of measurements for tasks such as ceiling installations. A switch- on interval of 2 seconds prevents the user from turning on the laser inadvertently. This compact torch also features an integrated UV light, which is particularly useful for technical inspections. Combining these functions in a single torch means there is no need to carry around several, significantly heavier tools for different tasks. For more information go to https://www.wiha.com/en/

Toolbank unveils product display

catalogue Latest initiative from Toolbank is designed to help its stockists find the most effective point of sale merchandise displays. Named Stand & Deliver/Box Clever, the initiative is presented in a new 84-page publication showing many of the display options available from Toolbank’s hundreds of suppliers. “We have access to a huge range of merchandising aids and point of sale

equipment for the many different products we stock and sell,” said marketing development director Simon Bicknell. “But we have never before presented it in a combined format.” The Stand & Deliver/Box Clever catalogue shows hundreds of display and

merchandising options including countertop displays, cut cases, dump bins, wall racks, and both free-standing and wall-mounted display stands. The catalogue is double ended: the Box Clever section focuses mainly on

cardboard display cases, and the Stand & Deliver section is all about steel merchandise stands. “It shows that we can provide POS support to suit just about any kind of product for any type or size of stockist,” said Mr Bicknell. “In fact we have so many options available that 84 pages isn’t enough to show the full range.” Many of the displays listed are available with special deals, and in other cases

suppliers will provide the POS free of charge, depending on the value of the order. The Stand & Deliver/Box Clever catalogue is available from all Toolbank branches; to locate your nearest branch, call 01322 321460 or go to b2binfo@toolbank.com. Toolbank is the UK’s and Ireland’s largest distributor of hand tools, power tools

and hardware products to the retail and merchant markets, stocking 30,000-plus products from more than 250 brands. For more information, call Colin Petty on 07768 583010, or email
