Guest international speaker will be Dr Tom Nettles, author of the substantial biography of C H Spurgeon, Living By Revealed Truth, and Professor emeritus of Historical Theology at Southern Baptist Seminary, USA. He will lead with major aspects of the twin themes, and also present Spurgeon’s application of Calvary to giving strength and consolation in trials. Under the title – ‘The Covenant of Grace: Why, Who, and When?’, Dr Masters will survey the distinctive and historic Baptist view of the covenants and the considerable effect this view has on church and individual spiritual life. Pastor Roland Burrows will speak on – Common
Threads in Times of Decline (17th-19th centuries); Pastor Ibrahim Ag Mohamed on – The Immense Power of Calvary; Rev John Thackway on – The Depths of Calvary; Pastor Chris Hand on – 1 Corinthians, a Survey; Pastor Chris Buss on – Zechariah, a Survey, and Dr Ted Williams will deal with a contemporary issue of major importance – The Social Mandate, the Impostor in Evangelicalism.
