AWARDS

T

he tenth-anniversary Relocate Awards gala dinner and presentation ceremony, to be held on Thursday 11 May at London’s Science Museum, promises to be a very

special occasion. Join us to celebrate success and innovation in relocation, to honour our winners, and to network. Set in South Kensington, cultural heart of the UK capital,

the museum is a unique venue with a real wow factor. As well as being one of the world’s most cutting-edge and iconic museums of science and innovation, it boasts breathtaking events spaces. Says Fiona Murchie, Relocate’s managing editor, “These awards

are all about showcasing excellence, innovation and best practice, so the Science Museum is the perfect venue for celebrating our winners in this tenth-anniversary year. “Those involved in relocation and global mobility are experts

in thinking outside the box. As we’ve been highlighting across the Relocate media, innovation – whether in science, the space industry and technology, or in other fields – is the key to global prosperity and growth, particularly in challenging economic times and with Brexit now a reality. That’s why the theme of this year’s gala dinner is ‘ignite, inspire, innovate’. “With growing skills shortages in key areas like science,

technology, engineering and maths [STEM], employers are increasingly competing for the best and most creative talent. Our event will attract high-calibre international attendees across industry and the education sector.” After a champagne reception followed by a three-course

dinner with fine wines, the trophies for the ten categories will be presented. There will be entertainment – and surprises – throughout the evening.

Inspiring international careers This year’s Gala Awards Dinner offers an opportunity – ignited by developments across science, technology and engineering – for those who are driving their businesses forward to connect with professionals from other disciplines and exchange ideas through lively conversations. From the space sector to the car industry, and from oil, gas and

energy, mining, pharmaceuticals, engineering and construction to retail and the creative sector, distribution and infrastructure, you will have the chance to discuss the cutting-edge developments that are on the agenda for international organisations and those competing in a fast-paced global market. Join us to interact with those who are achieving great things in a

variety of fields, and be inspired to innovate, take your organisation to the next level, and build a talent pipeline to the future.
