DEAL 2017

Middle East show returns as UAE is the place to be

Since the last edition of DEAL (Dubai, Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure) no fewer than four major theme parks and a waterpark have opened in the Emirate, and next month's trade show is now completely sold out in terms of exhibitors. So whether you want to go shopping for the latest products and services, or see them in some action at some world- class parks and attractions, now is the perfect time to plan that trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

with activities as the “the entertainment capital of the world is now taking shape,” according to DEAL organiser International Expo Consults. Exhibitors at last year’s show apparently signed deals worth

W

AED1.6 billion (US$435m/€410m) as the event grew by 23%. Now on its 23rd edition, DEAL 2017 expects to witness an even larger gathering of key amusement and attracctions industry players from the Middle East, Africa, Australia, Europe and Asia. Over 300 exhibitors are promised, but if you arrive early enough

you could supplement the show floor activity with a bit of education at the second DEAL Live conference on Sunday, March 26. Bringing together leading executives and thinkers, this year it will be just a half day (afternoon) session, so there’s no excuse not to make time to pop along and learn some of the industry's key trends and developments from those in the know. Attendance is just £70, which includes a networking reception afterwards. All DEAL badge holders are also entitled to attend the Amusement Operator & Franchise Showcase, which takes place alongside the exhibition with the goal of fostering business relationships between those in the amusement, franchising and licensing business.

DEAL 2017 takes place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from Monday to Wednesday, March 27 to 28. For more details see dealmiddleeastshow.com/2017
