ncreasing demand for preventative, predictive maintenance alerts to reduce emergency call out situations and to help reduce life cycle costs has prompted specialist in hydronic flow control, Flamco Commercial to launch its Pro Range of system conditioning equipment for commercial heating and cooling systems.

The range is said to offer intelligent pressure maintenance, vacuum degassing and chemical water treatment options across the spectrum of products, allowing selection of the right equipment for a particular project .
Flamco says this is the latest step in the provision of pressurisation units from as far back as 1980, with introductions of more advanced equipment on a regular basis across the past 38 years.
This latest range of equipment is targeted at building owners, installers, consulting engineers and wholesalers.
According to Flamco the new Pro Range has been introduced because customers have been asking for products that will reduce the potential for corrosion within a commercial heating or cooling system, minimise oxygen levels in the circulating fluids, balance and maintain chemical additives used for water conditioning and reduce lifecycle c osts.
There is also a demand to reduce the size of the equipment footprint in often very tight plant rooms and to enhance system monitoring options through improved BMS communication and the provision of a PC interface for real-time analysis without interruption to the working of the system.
The new range includes the Pro PDm, offering intelligent pre-commissioned pressurisation; the Pro PDS offering pressurisation with dosing; mixed with top up demand; the Pro PDG offering pressurisation with vacuum degassing; the Pro PDD – aptly known as the ‘Caretaker’ – offering combined pr essurisation; dosing and degassing; the Pro Vacumat Eco which represents the evolution of intelligent, adaptive vacuum degassing; and the Pro Vacumat Eco with Pro PDG – which offers the evolution of system conditioning to the market place.
“This new range is an exciting addition to the Flamco contribution to the commercial heating and cooling sector,” says UK sales director – commercial, Sean Blandford.
It ranges from “individual units that meet a
specific issue, to the ‘Caretaker’ which can address all the issues relating to commercial heating and cooling for the building owner or consultant tasked with ensuring the most cost effective and advanced solution for their needs”, Sean say s.
