How expertise and vision in the connecting technologies and enclosures market spawned a 20 year success with yearly growth.

2

0 years ago, Andy Fitzer made the decision to boost his career progression. The former apprentice electronics engineer and sales manager had a vision of what an electronics components company could be - and he set out to achieve it with Hitaltech. Over the following years, Hitaltech built a reputation for personal, tailored service and real expertise in the connecting technologies and enclosures sector. The business added staff, serving a broadening market that now includes the automotive, industrial control, building automation and energy metering markets. Customers across the industry have come to know and respect the Hitaltech brand. Turnover has risen consistently and is expected to continue rising steadily. Recently, a 60% increase in warehouse space enables the business to expand as it enters its third decade. Founded in 1986, Hitaltech is an ISO 9001:2008 registered company specialising in connecting technologies and enclosures suitable for electronic and electrical applications.

dinburgh Sensors was founded in 1988 and from then we have committed ourselves to developing gas sensing technology and equipment to the highest levels for all our customers. Since the 1940s Non-dispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensing has become an important, safe, reliable and accurate method for the detection of gases such as CO, CO2, CH4 and various refrigerants. In essence, one version of this equipment, consists of an infrared lamp, a sample chamber or light tube, a light filter and an infrared detector. The IR light is directed through the sample chamber towards a dual detector. One element of the detector is covered by an optical filter that passes light that is absorbed by the gas being detected the other element is covered by an optical filter that passes light that is not absorbed by the gas being detected.
