Tony Laithwaite grew up in Windsor. He loved The Great Park as a boy and relished the opportunity to make wine here when, in 2011, Tony was permitted by The Crown Estate and the Royal Farms to revive an ancient vineyard tradition. With help from Champagne friends, he planted classic grapes for fizz – Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.


Windsor Great Park Vineyard’s very first sparkling wine is the roundest and richest of the Trilogy; a bright, pretty wine – delicately refreshing, with fl avours of cherry blossom, crisp apple and ripe peach.

Alongside this historic first, you will enjoy a bottle from Barbara Laithwaite’s now well-established Wyfold vineyard. This hugely popular, cracklingly-crisp white was rated England’s No.1 sparkler on its first outing. Now the fine 2011 has won Gold at the International Wine Guide Awards.
