appointment of Ebru Pakcan, pictured, as Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) for the EMEA region. She takes over the role from Rajesh Mehta, who was recently named Regional Head of TTS for Asia-Pacific.

Pakcan was previously Global Head of TTS Payments and Receivables. She joined Citi in 1997 as an IT Project Manager in Turkey and in 1999 was appointed Head of IT Project Management for the country. In 2000, her role expanded to include Operations & Technology projects for Turkey. In 2001, she became Head of Custody and Clearing for Global Transaction Services (GTS), based in Istanbul. In 2004, Ebru moved to London and became GTS EMEA Head of Cash Management Implementation and then in 2008 she was appointed EMEA Head of Payments.

Sword Apak has appointed Trevor Barr as Business Consultant – Asia Pacific Region, based in Melbourne, Australia. “We are pleased to have Trevor join us at Sword Apak to grow our market leading brand and our flagship Wholesale Floorplanning Finance product (WFS) in Australia, New Zealand and the whole Asia Pacific region,” comments Sword Apak President and CEO, Tony Allen.


The majority of Barr’s career has been spent working for a large Australian bank and an Australian consultancy in various senior project director delivery and implementation roles including, in recent years, a large asset finance system implementation project and more recently as Project Director of the divestment of Esanda Finance to Macquarie Bank.

Will Bailey


InvestCloud, a US startup that offers a cloud-based digital platform for wealth managers, has announced the appointment of Will Bailey, pictured, as Executive Vice President for Europe and Innovation. He will head up InvestCloud’s European business, which is based in the City of London and consists of 10 people. Following its recent global client win at JPMorgan Chase and a worldwide distribution agreement with PwC, it plans to expand the team to 20 by the year end.


Relocating from the company’s offices in San Francisco, Bailey previously led InvestCloud’s technology and product management teams. John Wise, founder and CEO, InvestCloud, comments: “Will’s move to London demonstrates our commitment to our European-based customers and to the region’s wealth management sector as a whole.
