Sailors for the Sea completed a comprehensive Green Boating Guide (see Appendix) highlighting how to become a more environmentally sound boater on the water.

Water Refilling Stations Use a standard 5-gallon water cooler on board your coach boats for sailors to refill their reusable water bottles during regattas and other events. There are also easy- to-use water bottle pumps that can be placed into water jugs for this same purpose. Use of water refilling stations eliminates the need for single-use plastic water bottles.
