eading global airline, British Airways is rolling out a new
investment programme focused on its customers, excellence in premium cabins and more choice and quality for all.
Te new investment programme
includes a £400 million investment in its long-haul business class, Club World. Tis is an exciting development which will enhance the experience of dining at 38,000 feet and deliver an excellent night’s sleep for British Airways’ travellers, with stylish new bedding and an amenity kit designed by the renowned lifestyle brand, Te White Company. New Club World seats with direct aisle access are also expected in late 2019. A new restaurant-style premium
dining service has also been launched in Club World, with display trolleys allowing customers to select dishes from a choice of freshly prepared starters and desserts served on beautiful new table settings. Inspired by some of the world’s top chefs, the Club World menu combines
seat will adapt to your personal needs, whether you plan on working, catching up on some sleep, or just unwinding with world-class dining and entertainment. British Airways’ Club World
customers can also access and enjoy a wide range of entertainment on their personal 10.4in flat screen with noise cancelling headphones provided to enhance the experience. With hundreds of the latest films, documentaries, television and much more a whole world of entertainment awaits you. At the airport you will have your
own dedicated Club World check-in desk as well as Fast Track security and priority boarding. With Club World you can travel as light – or as heavy – as you like, thanks to our ample baggage allowance which includes one cabin bag plus a laptop or handbag on board and up to two bags in the hold. With Club World you can also
relax and recharge your batteries before the flight in one of our elegant departures’ lounges stocked with fine wines and drinks, refreshments, newspapers, magazines, and comfy sofas. We provide a range of business facilities for when you need to work including free Wi-Fi at most major airports. On arrival into London Heathrow Terminal 5, step off the plane and into the Arrivals lounge
to freshen up and get ready for the day ahead. Facilities include more delicious dining options, showers and a clothes-pressing service. British Airways premium
economy service, World Traveller Plus, is also a popular choice as it offers a more comfortable and relaxing experience on longer routes and is proof that premium service doesn’t have to break the bank.
Te cabin features a smaller
number of rows for a more exclusive experience, but you'll find the cabin big on space and big on features, including wider seats with greater recline and power supply for laptops and other electronic devices. Tere’s plenty of ‘plus’ in the World
Traveller Plus menu, featuring a delicious assortment of fine foods designed to keep your taste buds entertained throughout the flight and a whole world of entertainment awaits passengers on-board. With World Traveller Plus’ generous and flexible baggage
allowances, it doesn’t matter if you are travelling light or packing for an extended stay. You can take two bags with you on board – one full- sized cabin bag plus a laptop bag or handbag – and check up to two bags into the hold – double the allowance for most economy services. Another reason the premium economy cabin has become a preferred choice for many of our leisure passengers. Technology has also helped
British Airways simplify and speed up customer journeys through the airport, with the opening of the first three automated self-boarding gates for UK domestic flights at Heathrow Terminal 5. In addition, customers can now track their flight, upgrade fares, and manage their itineraries via the BA app. As part of the new
