Atlantic Joint Venture Roadshow 2022
T
he airline partners that make up AJV invited agents to attend a training evening in The Chelsea Bar. Agents were welcomed with a sparkling glass of prosecco and enjoyed catching up with industry colleagues and friends.
Throughout the evening, the AJV members updated the agents with all things new and excited for United Airlines, Air Canada and the Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings. Putting their knowledge and listening skills to the test, Martina Coogan from United Airlines, Kevin Rogers from Air Canada, and Helen Fyfe from the Lufthansa Group quizzed the agents, offering amazing prizes to be won!
With a set of flight tickets on United Airlines from
Dublin to Newark, flight tickets on Air Canada from Dublin to Canada and a luggage bag and electronic tracker up for grabs, the agents put their game faces on and enjoyed the quiz!
Congratulations to the lucky winners! Thanks to all the agents that joined AJV for a great night!

pandemic.
Advantage members attended the conference in sunny Madeira, Portugal stemming over 3 days. Members were treated to a welcome event when they arrived in Madeira, ahead of the main conference beginning the following morning. The afternoon was filled with an audience with travel expert Simon Calder, who has a kind word for the travel trade of northern Ireland.
The night closed at the fantastic Virgin Voyages gala dinner, sponsored by the Madeira Tourist board and the Portuguese Tourist Board and was followed by a morning of speed networking.
The event came to a close with a newly planted tree to mark the Advantage Conference and its closure. Many thanks to Jet2Holidays for hosting NI Travel News at this years conference.
