East Anglia THREE Offshore Windfarm Reducing our impacts
As with all Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, there will be unavoidable but temporary impacts during the construction works. We have taken a proactive approach from the design phase to mitigate or reduce these impacts where possible.
In the Preliminary Environmental Information Report, we aim to clearly identify areas of potential impact and suitable mitigation measures. We welcome input from the community to assist in identifying the steps that could be taken at this stage in order to minimise future disruption.
We have included the following East Anglia ONE documents in the Preliminary Environmental Information Report for East Anglia THREE for reference. These documents were drafted and agreed with stakeholders during the development process for East Anglia ONE. They set out the mitigation measures to be implemented during the construction phase of that project. We will produce equivalent documents for East Anglia THREE. These will be submitted as part of our Development Consent Order application in November 2015. We welcome your feedback today in order to shape these documents ahead of submission.
