The HAKKO FR-1418 SMD Rework System is a low cost, lead-freecompatible system designed for manual and semi-automaticrework of surface mount devices, including BGA, LGA, QFN, microBGA, and other bottom terminated components.

The system uses a rigid gantry design and simple construction thatprovides a stable platform for repeatability, and includes a computer system with easy-to-use software for creating, storing, and controlling rework profiles. The software also provides the capability to ‘learn’ the optimal profile through the simple TEACH feature using thermo- couple inputs and closed-loop temperature control.

The HAKKO FR-1418 includes various upgrade options such as a 2 kW top heater, a 3 kW bottom pre-heater array, and vision system enhancements.
