The European Union’s Circular Economy strategy is going to place tough new demands on all in the plastics chain, from resin and part producers through to brand owners and consumers. Meanwhile, high profile issues such as marine waste mean that plastics will remain in the focus of media, NGOs and policy makers. Over the coming years, the pressure will undoubtedly be on all in the plastics supply chain to dramatically improve recycling rates. AMI’s new Plastics Recycling Technology conference
will examine the latest recycling technologies as well as exploring innovative approaches to lifting the quality of reclaimed materials. Taking place in Cologne, Germany, on 20-21 June, the conference will bring together a variety of international recycling and waste manage- ment experts to examine key strategies for developing high-value markets for recycled plastics, as well as reviewing the legislation, regulation and standards that are critical in the development of the plastics recycling sector.
