Ms (Rachelle) Lau Pui Tsit (r), in discussion with spea- ker Simone van Trier at the Christiaens Workshop in Horst on 27 May (see page 28). Ms Rachelle presented a lecture on opportunities and challenges regarding in- vestments in the Chinese mushroom sector, prepared by Mr Liu Zi Qiang. Agaricus production, although still in its infancy, is on the rise in China and the Chinese delegation invited western suppliers to invest, and not be scared off by (cultural) challenges.
