ust over six hundred delegates attended ETFO’s 2014 Annual Meeting at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto from August 11 to 14. When delegates were not listening to speakers or celebrating their col- leagues’ achievements, they were vigorously engaged


in debating and considering resolutions related to the opera- tion of the union and the work of teachers and non-teacher educators. Whether delegates were speaking for or against resolutions, all were passionately and actively involved in the democratic process. First-time speakers identifi ed them- selves at the podium to receive an ETFO “I am the Face of My Union” t-shirt for their efforts.
