GETTING INTO TOWN Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi (Su-Wana- Poom) airport has an airport rail link to the city centre running 06.00 to midnight. The Express Service stops at Makkasan


(which connects with the MRT rail service) and Phyathai (which connects with the BTS skytrain). It takes 15 minutes, departs hourly on the half hour and costs 150 baht (around £2.80). The City/Commuter service makes additional stops, takes 30 minutes and departs roughly every 15 minutes with extra services during


weekday rush hours. It costs between 15 and 45 Baht (28p-£84). Thai allows early luggage check in at Makkasan station. The Airport Express bus stops at
