DALLAS – The Beaumont Foundation awarded Buckner Foster Care and Adoption $198,300 to provide clothing for children in Buckner care across the state. On Feb. 17, Ed Keller, Beaumont Foundation chief operating officer, presented the

from the Beaumont Foundation have totaled $1.3122 million in support of Buckner Foster Care and Adoption. “Clothing helps a child’s self-esteem when
he or she has been abused, abandoned or neglected,” said JoAnn Cole, Buckner vice presi- dent for foster care and adoption. “The ability to go shopping for clothing helps empower kids
toward self-sufficiency.” Created in 2001, the Beaumont Foundation is a
nonprofit, awarding grants to enrich the lives of children, youth, families and the elderly in need. The foundation provides grants and scholar-
ships to a broad range of charitable, religious and educational organizations across the United States. The foundation supports organizations that seek to improve lives by giving people the tools to become educated, healthy, and self- reliant through the grant making areas of education, health care, children and youth programs, social services (food, shelter and clothing) and the Children of Fallen Heroes program.
