EDITOR’S VOICE EDITOR’S VOICE

Hello and welcome to the June edition of Tomorrow’s FM, the time has finally arrived for the Facilities Show, so we will soon be heading down to London to see you all again; and please come and see us on stand P1150 for a catch up!

In this issue we are looking at Educational & School Facilities before of the end of the year; we talk classroom design, infection control and digital mapping in the sector, to help improve learning environments. Elsewhere, we look at Flooring, with a VIP case study from Amtico, a workplace innovation with Ceramiche and epoxy resins from Nexus.

Also this month, in time for the Safety & Health Expo, co-located with the Facilities show, we are looking at Health & Safety, covering everything from lift safety to cycling and Radon testing, with a look back at changing CDM regulations with Hosking Associates.

Finally, we have a new feature section for 2016; Social Housing & Community Facilities, an area that we have touched upon in the past and felt that it deserved more attention in the industry. In this segment we get advice on cost efficiency, in terms of when to repair and when to replace and how to improve false alarm management in the social sector.

With all this, plus our firm favourites; 10 Questions, HR Focus and of course What’s New? to keep you up-to-date with all the latest across the industry and special announcements ahead of the Facilities Show, we can’t help but get excited!

I hope you enjoy the issue, I look forward to seeing you all soon!
