IDEAL MANUFACTURING ANNOUNCE JOHN HICKMAN AS NEW DIRECTOR OF LAUNDRY


& TEXTILE CARE John Hickman has been given a new senior role at Ideal Manufacturing, having been appointed to the board of directors as Director of Laundry & Textile Care.


The position will see John take on overall responsibility for commercial laundry, OPL and textile care – overseeing a team of technical staff and engineers. He will also take a leading role in developing export markets.

TC FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SCORE CLEANING CONTRACT WITH RUGBY PREMIERSHIP


CHAMPIONS. TC Facilities Management (TCFM) has been awarded the cleaning contract at the prestigious Allianz Park, home of the 2015 Rugby Premiership Champions, Saracens.


Following a rigorous tender process, TCFM have successfully secured an exclusive cleaning contract to provide all area cleaning at Allianz Park, located in North London. Along with supplying Match Day services to clean the 10,000 seat capacity stadium, the award includes Day to Day cleaning of its impressive conferencing, hospitality and general stadium areas along with their retail store. The contract went live on Monday 3rd August 2015.

John joined Ideal in 2001 and has been instrumental in delivering technical laundry expertise to all types and sizes of laundry customer. He has been a major part of Ideal’s considerable growth over the last 15 years as National Sales Manager.


Not frightened to roll up his sleeves on-site in a laundry to help solve wash problems – he’s a well known and


popular figure with well over 35 years of hands-on experience in industrial laundering, beginning in 1981 with laundry group Spring Grove. He later moved to Barr Chemicals Ltd and then Powles Hunt & Sons Ltd in 1984. Thousands of hours in laundries followed, setting up programmes and problem solving, delivering training seminars and workshops in laundry technology and chemistry around the world. In 2014 John became a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Launderers.

The TC Facilities Management team is also celebrating extending other stadia contracts for cleaning and window cleaning with Watford and West Ham United football clubs in addition to securing Specialist Cleaning projects at other leisure, sport and entertainment locations across the UK.
