MANAGEMENT 2016 IS BACK WITH A BANG


As the countdown to Facilities Management 2016 begins, we bring you a sneak peak of what’s lined up for the show.


Facilities professionals from across the country will be flocking to Birmingham’s NEC on 22-24 March for Facilities Management 2016. The show, which returns for its third year, is set to be bigger and better than ever with an expanded show floor, exciting new educational content and a wealth of leading industry speakers.


Facilities Management 2016 is the leading UK event dedicated to the large scale and multi site facilities industry, a sector which is currently estimated to be worth £111 billion a year to the UK economy. With this in mind, Easyfairs commissioned Magenta Associates to re-design and manage its conference programme, providing visitors with the knowledge to stay ahead in an increasingly competitive market. The free-to-attend seminar programme will feature over 25 educational sessions focusing on the key themes - People, Politics and Policy.


EXHIBITORS Major names and show regulars such as Tradepoint, Servicemaster, Gritting.com, SYR Continental, Direct Telecom Services and NVC Lighting have rebooked for 2016. They will be joined by a host of first time exhibitors including Cyclepod, GSF Sandylight and Morreston Maintenance Solutions many of whom will be using the show debut new products to the market.


SEBO will be presenting its recently launched range of commercial upright vacuums, which have been designed to maintain its current performance

values, whilst adhering to the power constraints soon to be imposed by 2017 EU legislations.


SYR Resilient will be presenting its innovative TIC Range, which helps contract cleaning companies raise the level of cleanliness and facilitates the cleaning world to keep up with the advancements within the flooring industry.


Higham Roofing will use the show to exhibit its ‘HighScan’ drone survey, which provides a sustainable and cost-effective approach to scientifically measuring the condition of flat roofs. It detects wet insulation, defective insulation, lack of insulation and the thermal performance of the roof and its components.


Direct Telecom Services will be exhibiting its extensive range of two- way radio solutions. It will include simple radio to radio communication systems, as well as a system featuring GPS, lone worker protection, fire alarm and telephone integration.


Paramount Security Group will be displaying its bespoke, integrated security solutions, including its range of security gates, traffic barriers and the control systems that go with them.


Safer Access Solutions will be presenting its range of solutions, which solve complex and costly access problems. These include the services of facade cleaning, gutter cleaning, banner installation and removal, plus the installation of the complete range of bird deterrent systems.


COMPLEMENTARY


SHOWS Facilities Management 2016 will feature the Cleaning Zone, which allows visitors to see the top cleaning innovations at the heart of the facilities industry from leading suppliers such as Cleaning City, Disposables UK, SEBO and IRTS.


The show will be co-located with Maintec 2016, the leading UK event for the maintenance, plant and asset management industry. It is also co- located with a second complementary show – The Health and Safety Event, which is run by Western Business Exhibitions. As health and safety plays an increasingly important role in the life of a facilities manager, this partnership is fitting.


Visitors will be able to access all three shows with one badge which further demonstrates the commitment Facilities Management has to providing an educational and industry focused event.
