AV News Awards 2018: it could be you!


Award Nominations Now Open


Nominations for the AV News Awards 2018 should be submitted via the web form provided, which was activated on the 1st August 2017. The 2018 edition of the Awards includes three new product categories (for innovations in presentation,collaboration and digital signage) and one new project category (for live events).


Nominations in the Personal Award Categories (Technologist of the Year, SalesProfes- sional of the Year, Support Professional of the Year, Marketing Professionalof the Year and Outstanding Achievement in AV) are again free to enter. Sponsors in any category are also free.


Nominations by AV News Award


All other nominations in the Technology, Project and Organisation Categories arethis year subject to an Administration Fee of £75 plus VAT, per nomination forentry into the Awards only, or £175 plus VAT if you would like to support yournomination by attending the Awards Presentation at ISE 2018 on the 6th February 2018 at ISE (subject to availability).

The AV News Awards have a special place within Europe’s audio-visual industry, being fo- cused on the people and commu- nity that make the business work. The Awards recognise the contri- bution made by the individuals in the labs and R&D centres, the sales and marketing teams and those involved in training and supportfor the technologies and services that comprise AV solu-


tions. The Awards also recognise excellence in AV technologies and in the channel that deliv- ers them to market. Presentation 2018 The AV News Awards 2018 are to be presented at a gourmet breakfast presentation on the first morning of ISE 2018, at the RAI Amsterdam at 8.30 am on the 6th February 2018.


Exertis UK and Ireland MD Gerry O Keeffe is to present the Keynote Ad- dress,responding to the question: “Why is it so difficult to add charge- able value to AV products and solutions?”. The Keynote Address will be recorded on video and will also be published in print after the event.
