EASTERN Angles latest touring production will be visiting Easton Farm Park for the first time this year. ‘The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart’ is a high-energy show full of fantastic, live folk music perfectly suited to the informal barn location. Set in the Scottish borders, the hard-work- ing cast of four conjure up a mag- ical and poetic story that will keep audiences on the edges of their seats. The Easton Farm Park gig on Thursday 25th May comes towards the end of a highly-suc- cessful tour of East Anglia visit- ing over forty different venues including Woodbridge Commu- nity Hall, Isaac’s on the Quay and the Sir John Mills Theatre in Ips- wich. Marathons For Equine Charity Brooke


LOCAL vet Ten2London mara- thon runners Brian Faulkner, and Carolyne Crowe crossed the finish line of the London Mara- thon on April 23rd, their tenth marathon in ten days, with a great time of five hours exactly. SARAH Cole first opened her own Jewellery shop in Fram- lingham in 1990 so it is fair to say she knows what she is do- ing. Located in the Old Mews off Market Hill, the shop has a great place at the centre of this popular market town. Sa- rah began her journey aged 14 when she worked as a Satur- day girl in a jewellery shop in Diss and she has not looked back. Joining Sarah in the shop are


Lyn, Bethany, Catherine and Linda. In fact, it was Lyn who taught Sarah all those years ago and Lyn has worked for Sarah ever since she set up on her own. The team clearly all share


Sarah’s passion and love for the business and all things jewel- lery. Upon entering the shop your eye will be drawn to any number of sparkling display cabinets. Whether it is a simple pair of earrings or an elaborate and ornate diamond ring, you will find what you want here. There is a fabulous selection


of collections including: silver, yellow and white gold, dia- mond, precious and semi-pre- cious gemstones, pearl, antique pieces, gentlemen’s items and watches. Of course, prices vary greatly but there is something for all budgets, with a set of sil- ver stud earrings or hoops start- ing at around £2. Retail of jewellery is just part


of this business. Sarah has a real flair and passion for design and so bespoke commissions are very popular. This can be either making a unique piece


from scratch or perhaps restyl- ing a piece of jewellery that has been handed down through the generations. This is enormous- ly popular as it allows someone to keep hold of an item of jew- ellery that might have tremen- dous sentimental value but turn it into something that reflects who they are and that they are happy wearing every day. The bespoke commissions


vary greatly. It might be that someone has seen an item of jewellery they loved and would like it recreated or perhaps you would like to design your own special wedding rings. Simply call in to the shop and speak with Sarah to discuss your ideas, preferred choice of metal


and budget. Once the design has been approved Sarah will work her magic and you’ll have something unique that will last a lifetime. Of course, repairs and re-


stringing are also very popular and this work, as well as the majority of manufacturing of new jewellery, is all done on- site. More simple and regular running repairs such as watch batteries, straps and pins can all be done whilst you wait, though why not have a wander around town and pop back when the work is done? have lots of great gift ideas such as hipflasks, tankards, china, fragrance lamps and
