5 STAR CLINIC is a one-stop diagnostic centre for PREVENTIVE MEDICINE. The goal of our clinic is to find disease at the earliest possible stage and use minimally invasive techniques that lead to a cure. We specialise in 5 main areas plus a well-person programme. Although some of our specialities are female oriented, 5 STAR CLINIC is equally appropriate for men as well as women. For example, bone density issues aff ect men and women equally, and at the clinic we can measure and help determine a course of treatment. A new innovation is the treatment of prolapse, urinary incontinence and vaginal dryness using laser treatments: fast, non-invasive and eff ective.
ULTRASOUNDS
Ultrasound can be used for men and women. Next to 4D- fetal-screening, ultrasound can be used for breast, ovaries and womb. Breast implants aſt er augmentation can be visualised to see if there are any inconsistencies. A prostate ultrasound measures the volume of the prostate. A volume over 20ml would require further investigation.
MAMMOGRAM
Women from the age of 40, or younger, if breast cancer runs in the family, are invited for a yearly mammogram. Our digital mammogram uses a very low dosage of radiation. Our aim is to make a mammogram a painless experience.
LASER TREATMENT
Laser can be used for various problems. Pigmentation of the skin can be treated and warts quickly and safely removed. The latest development is treatment for vaginal prolapse, incontinence and vaginal dryness.
WELL PERSON CLINIC
Our 30 minute well person consultation includes: A general health questionnaire, body mass index, waist perimeter measurement, blood pressure, blood test for glucose and cholesterol. A calculation of heart disease risk together with an electrocardiogram will be made. Well man: PSA (prostate blood test) from the age of 40. Well woman: cervical smear from the age of 21.

FULL BODY BONE DENSITY SCANNING
Men from the age of 60 and women from the age of 50 (menopause) have a higher risk of osteoporosis. A bone density scan is a non-invasive test that will take about 15 minutes without having to undress and direct result and advice at the end of the procedure.
FERTILITY
In Spain we can off er you an egg donation program with a success rate of over 80%.
We can also off er the most commonly used fertility treatments (insemination, mild ovarian hyper stimulation, IVF and ICSI).
