Money skills project


MONEY Skills for Life, a pilot project devel- oped in Cornwall, is be- ing launched in the Camborne, Pool, Illo- gan and Redruth area. The scheme is aimed at giving people spe- cialist, one-to-one fi- nancial coaching to look at their relation- ships with money and their life choices, and to help them avoid go- ing into debt.

The project, run by Citizens Advice Corn- wall, will involve eight life coaches providing £300 worth of free ses- sions to people in the community who are not heavily in debt but are willing to make changes to their spend- ing habits.


The coaches are vol- unteers who gained life coaching skills qualifi- cations.
