Darthaven Services Marina Facilities
Darthaven’s washroom facilities are located a short distance away from the Marina, next to our Chandlery. Entry for visitors to the facilities is gained by using a key card obtained from the Berthing office. The main facilities block at Darthaven offers private shower cubicles, toilets, electric points and hair dryers. Also located in this block we have two private bathroom areas, disabled toilets and a snack/drink/toiletries vending machine.
■ Wi-Fi - Wi-fi is available at the Marina and the visitors’ pontoon through Club Wi-fi. Visitors will get their access user name and password from the Marina Office on payment of the marina fee. To access Wifi select the CLUBWIFI-DARTHAVENMARINA hotspot with the strongest signal and then choose Guest. Extra time can be purchased through the portal. Any problems with this service – please ring Club Wi-fi 01626 270140.
■ Gas and bottles - a range of Calor Gas and Camping Gaz refill exchanges and new cylinders can be purchased from the Marina Office.
■ Launderette - situated at the back of our facilities block, with two industrial washing machines and tumble dryers. A sink and ironing board are also provided. Both the washers and dryers are coin operated and can be accessed from 8.30am until midnight 7 days a week. (£4 per wash, 20p per five minute drying cycle).
■ Car Park - over 320 car parking spaces are available for use by berth holders, visitors and general public. The car park operates a Pay & Display system with a Number Plate Recognition system. This is run by Premier Parking Systems (PPS). Permanent berth holders do not need to ‘pay and display’ but should display their issued sticker. Annual or 6
10
month permits can be arranged directly with PPS - 0845 8621034 - NOT through Darthaven.
■ Waste & Recycling - located opposite our Berthing and Service Office is the waste disposal area. We recycle as much waste product as possible and would greatly appreciate if, during your stay, you could do the same. Separated into two sections, general waste on the left and recycling on the right, it’s never been easier. For the disposal of used filters and waste oil, please find the large green tank located under the railway bridge as marked on the Marina Map.
■ Pirotecnia Disposal - in our Chandlery, we accept out of date flares only when purchasing replacements, so be sure to ask a member of our staff for more information. Otherwise, a licensed contractor must dispose of all waste flares.
■ Security - CCTV operates 24 hours a day and monitored by our night staff on duty daily (7 days/week). Access to the Marina can only be gained by entrance though our electronic gates operated via a key card control system. Visitors should ask for their card at the Berthing Office. This system is also in place in order to gain access to our facilities block and washroom areas. We operate a barrier entrance to the boatyard.
