For the past 11 years, Dominion’s Project Plant It! has been introducing children to the wonders of the environment through free lesson plans and redbud tree seedlings to honor Arbor Day.


Educators can register online via the official Project Plant It! website to take part in this award-winning teaching program. Visit www.projectplantit.com to gain access to online games, instructional materials and worksheets, and to request 25 free redbud tree seedlings shipped directly to your school or organization.

Project Plant It! is a partnership among Dominion, the Arbor Day Foundation, and schools and organizations in regions served by the company. Each year, this program teaches thousands of students and community members about the value of trees in our ecosystem and how to recognize and care for trees. Project Plant It! enhances the classroom learning experience and increases comprehension of subject matter by providing a hands-on experience for each child.
