Christmas has finally arrived and IKEA has lots in store this year! From their Christmas shop to Santa arriving in store, they have a wide range to offer to all ages.
Santa will be arriving to IKEA Dublin at the end of November. Children can visit Santa in his grotto and meet his happy little helpers! Santa will also be giving out FREE gifts to all children. He will be there every weekend from the 26th of November from 10am- 4pm so make sure you don’t miss him. Their Christmas trees will also be arriving in store on the 23rd of November. Pick up a real tree for just €30 and take home a €20 coupon! There will be a huge range of trees for you to choose from, so come in store and get yours. The IKEA Christmas shop is not to be missed. What can I expect at Santa’s House Express?
2016 at Santa’s House Express will have many new attractions, performers and entertainment along with all the old favourites to thrill old friends and new. Check in and receive your Boarding Pass and let your festive journey begin. All participants will first be brought to Santa’s HQ where their Chief Elf will require some help from all their guests in making some big decisions about this Christmas! Depart on Santa’s Polar Express Train through the beautiful grounds of Palmerstown House Estate till you reach the manor. Jump off the train at Santa’s magnificent Manor Home and enter into the stunning, glistening hallway. In Santa’s house you will be invited to step inside a magical candy cane room before visiting Mrs Claus in her sitting room where she will tell you all the stories about looking after the main man himself. Venture up the magnificent staircase and visit Santa in his reading room. Santa will greet & spend some time with you all & of course have a special present for all the boys and girls who were very good throughout the year!! Don’t forget to bring your letter! A warm festive welcome awaits you back at their Guest House. Enjoy a hot chocolate and some festive treats amongst the wonderful festive decor and atmosphere. Join them for lunch or dinner and be entertained by some special guests and performers where the kids can join in and get their picture taken with them! They will have all your favourite Christmas goodies from plum puddings to cranberry sauce, crepes to festive candies and wash it all down with some mulled cider. Coolmine Panto Group presents
The perennial pantomimers, Coolmine Panto are back at Draiocht, Blanchardstown Centre in January for their annual panto. This year’s presentation is a pantomime for all the family, Sleeping Beauty, a classic tale about a beautiful Princess, an enchanted spinning wheel and of course, a handsome Prince. There is also a jealous fairy called Magnificent who aims to spoil things with her evil spell on the Princess’s birthday. But, there to help is Auntie Dolly Dollar, the Duchess of Dishwater and an assortment of ‘Friends’!! So, get your tickets early , as they don’t want any of you disappointed, and come along and enjoy the fun, song, dance and craic of a Coolmine Panto, and when you get here, you are expected to join in….oh yes you are! This year they are staging a special autism friendly show on Wed. 18th January.
