It’s a new association year, with new goals, to-dos and metrics. TXTA leadership recently returned from a very productive strategic planning retreat. We identified keys priorities as well as essential improvements necessary to achieve our full potential. I speak for our entire team when I say we are ready and excited!

We reassessed, realigned and revised our focus for the association. We have a bold simple plan based on effective communication and member engagement. The positive direction is truly uplifting.

TXTA has a proud history. We are so fortunate to have a very experienced, respected and talented staff. I am grateful for their commitment to our great industry and I urge each of you to recommit your resources to empower and support them to be as effective and impactful as possible in this important year. Get involved, learn all that TXTA can do for your business.

Our committees are up and running, and bursting with members interested in volunteering their time and talents. We have everything from improving our golf tournaments to enhancing member savings (affinity) to improved education and more! We are getting folks involved on new levels, in new ways. Thanks to those who have already jumped aboard and welcome to those who want to grab an oar. We are excited to recreate an association that is beneficial to each and every one of our members. Most importantly, we are looking for your support and assistance as we do so.

As we prepare for Trucking Day at the Texas State Capitol, I ask that you all plan to come to Austin in January. Our strength is still in numbers and members willing to speak up for what is important to the Texas industry. We need you and your voice!

I am honored and humbled to be representing you during such a promising year of growth and renewal. Join us as we continue to propel Texas Trucking Association to a sure and successful future as the pinnacle of Texas transportation!
