2017 will mark the 70th anniversary of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Fringe has taken place each and every year in Edinburgh since 1947. It always has been and always will be an entirely open access festival which means that absolutely anyone can stage a show or event. If you’ve been inspired to take part in next year’s festival, please come and visit us at Fringe Central@Infirmary Street (Venue 2, open from 01 to 29 August, 10:00 to 20:00) and ask to speak to a member of the Participant Services team.
You can also visit edfringe.com/participants where you’ll find information, advice and downloadable guides to taking part in the Fringe. Or come along to our How to Do a Show event on Saturday 27 August at 12:00 at Fringe Central@Infirmary Street. It’s free to attend and full details are available in the Events section of this programme.
