The City of Portsmouth, Virginia will receive sealed Bids for the above titled Project at the Procurement Office, located on the 5th Floor of Portsmouth City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, Portsmouth, VA 23704, until 2:00 PM, local time on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any Bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.


The Work under this Project consists of upgrades to various portions of the Water Treatment Facility.

The Bidding Documents must be ordered from CH2M HILL’s Chantilly, Virginia, Office. The Bidding Documents (half-sized drawings and specifications) may be obtained for a non- refundable charge of $100.00 each. A Prospective Bidder (one who plans to submit a bid) must purchase at least one complete set of Bidding Documents. The City retains the right to limit the purchase of multiple additional sets at one time and delay shipping additional sets until the requested sets are printed. There will be no refunds.


There will be a Mandatory Pre Bid Conference on May 4, 2016 at 10:00AM, local time, at the Lake Kilby Water Treatment Facility, 105 Maury Place, Suffolk, Virginia. All Contractors MUST pre-register with CH2M HILL a minimum of 3 days prior to the pre-bid conference. Contractors must provide a picture ID to obtain access to the plant site the day of the pre-bid conference. Access to the plant site will be limited to three representatives per pre-registered Contractor.
