Saturday the All Star Race was not a disappointment either.

segment only to lose the fi nal 10-lap dash for the cash to Jamie McMurray. Aſt er qualifying and before driver introductions, we were entertained by “Train”. With Sunday being a free day, Liz and I veg out by going


shopping at the Bass Pro Shop as well as the Walmart. We had two full days touring the race shops of Richard Childress, which

She was a very nice lady. T e Mike Curb Museum was very interesting because it has a very good collection of Race Cars as well as Music. Mike Curb was into both forms of entertainment. Our next stop was lunch at Lancaster’s BBQ which was a very


fi lling meal. I took Pamela and Parker over to the Speedway to pick up


our Pit Passes. Liz and I went to the track early, with Parker and Pamela. Liz went to our seats, Pamela, Parker and I went into the Pits but cannot go anywhere because of the Nationwide practice. T e qualifying for the Coke-a-Cola 600 was pretty interesting. It was set up in three heats. In the 1st
