Correction I’m writing to inform you of an error in the article “San Diego Theater Year in Review” (December 31). He titled the dance show at the Old Globe Up In Arms, when it is actually called In Your Arms.

City vs. County I am responding to the inaccuracy of the story “Contract Killers” (City Lights, December 31) writ- ten by Dorian Hargrove. You published a photo of the County Operations Center that houses the Purchasing and Contract- ing office yet your story is about the City of San Diego Purchasing and Contracting Department. The City and County are separate gov- ernmental agencies. The County Department of Agriculture handles pest control operations for the county separate from the County Purchasing and Contracting office. Please get your facts straight and please print a retraction. Name withheld Carmel Valley

40,000 more jobs, but what portion of those pay a liv- able income? I typed “liv- able wage,” but then thought about it... Who cares if you have a livable wage, yet only get minimal hours and have to work two or three jobs to get the income needed to survive in San Diego. And if you have more than one job it probably means you aren’t getting good benefits (healthcare, vaca-
