We wish all our readers season’s greetings and a safe and prosperous 2016...

T

he end of the year is a traditional time to take stock, assess what has been achieved and plan for the year ahead. City Security

magazine has achieved some considerable success in 2015 and is looking forward to going further in 2016.

A growing readership...

In 2012, when we launched the magazine nationally, we printed on average 5,000 copies each quarter – by the end of 2015 we have increased this by 100% to over 10,000 in both print and now digital formats. The readership is likely to be much higher than this. Our magazine is displayed in reception areas and on magazine racks. Indivduals’ copies are circulated around an office. We could say each magazine is read by 5 people, which would mean a readership figure of 50,000! But we like to be factual and we do this by using a highly respected data subscriptions agency, Esco.

When you subscribe to our magazine, your details are logged into our system, and, you can be assured, this information is not passed to anyone else, but is only used to give our advertisers an understanding of who reads our magazines and where they are read. This data analysis shows that over 50% of our subscribers are senior managers, CEO or Director level, and that over 50% are in a security related company and work in London and the South East of England.

As a free publication, we can only produce this with the support of our advertisers, who believe that the quality of our magazine makes it the preferred security magazine to read when it comes to impartial, non advertorial articles that give good advice on security.

A big thank you to all our supporters...

We work in partnership with the City of London Crime Prevention Association to produce City Security magazine. Together with them, we would like to thank all the security associations, BSIA, Security Institute, NSI, ASIS and City of London Police who regularly contribute with great articles and promote the magazine to their members.

In 2016...

We will continue our association as media partners at Trade events such as Counter Terror Expo, IFSEC International, Transport Security Expo, Retail Crime and Loss Prevention, and National Security Summit to name just a few. We will also publish enewsletters with a difference. Our newsletter will impart seasonal and topical crime prevention advice to share with work colleagues and friends.

You can visit our website to see our latest enewsletter and read back issues from our archive section.
