Standard should just be higher. Put station-based people back into the equation and then empower them to make decisions and changes. The automated centralised system is dire.


If the housing was of high quality with efficient boilers and good service from Carillion Amey then maybe.


Because a promised improvement wouldn’t be fully implemented yet the cost increase would.


CarrillionAmey service is extremely bad. Quality of SFA was poor (Old boiler and oven, Carpets over 11 years old and faded, No redecoration done for over 10 years). CA didn’t care and said it reached their opinion of the march in standard and if I had a problem then I should take my complaint up to stage 2.


Overall, we are very happy with our SFA. Works services/repairs take a long time/sometimes never in SLA.


The standard of our MQ is poor, old kitchen, badly stained carpet and a shower that doesn’t work


Complaint raised with CA complaint ignored over £3500 damages.


CA has a great disconnect between KPI satisfaction + Customer satisfaction/Quality I moved into my quarter in Nov 14. I have had a leak in the master bedroom since I moved in which is still to be fixed. Carillion Amey haven’t made it easy to have the issue fixed, constantly trying ‘quick fixes’ which is why 9 months on I still have a mini rainfall inside when it rains.


I have been military for 34 years and for the last few years it’s been terrible. I complained about a leak and it took months for a surveyor to come out and by then the ceiling fell through. The joists holding the bathroom up were rotten”


Houses in disrepair, mould, CA doing quick fixes and never fully repairing the problem. The accommodation we are currently in is run down, has severe mould problems and is subsiding. We have substantial cracks in the external walls which can also be seen from inside the property.


We are very happy with our family accommodation.


Standards would have to dramatically improve for extra costs, or the houses should be knocked down and new quarters built.


My rent is going up but I have been fighting with CA and MOD for over a year. The mould has caused health problems with my two young children. Mould, cracks, low quality repairs, long waiting times for repairs, unreliability of workmen.
