The new Mr. and Mrs. McDaniel. Vows exchanged Erica Bernal Hanson, daughter

of Irene Bernal and Eric Hanson of Orange, and Carson McDaniel, son of Laurence McDaniel and Susan McDaniel of Encinitas, were married at The Loft on Pine in Long Beach on April 25. The bride is a 2006 graduate of

El Modena High School, a 2010 graduate of UC Berkeley. After five years working in the nonprofit sector, she will begin an MSW pro- gram at San Diego State this fall. Carson is a graduate of La Cos-

ta Canyon High School in Carls- bad and is also a 2010 graduate of UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. After college he worked for Bloomberg. He also

began competing in triathlons around the country, and achieved Ironman status in Lake Placid in July 2014. While at UC Berkeley, the

couple was introduced by mu- tual friend and fellow El Modena High School alum, Ricky Ulivi. Six years later, Ulivi officiated at their wedding ceremony. After four years in San Francis-

co, the couple made the decision to relocate to the San Diego area so Carson could join the family avocado business. They honey- mooned in Portugal and Moroc- co, and can now begin their new life with their cat Rio and Vizsla pup Salsa.

Couple wed in Salt Lake City Tyler Albertson and Elizabeth

Bell were married in Salt Lake City on June 5. Tyler graduated from Foothill High School in 2008, and is the son of long-time North Tustin residents Wyatt and Ann Albertson (former TUSD school board member). Eliza- beth Bell is the daughter of Co- rey and Kristen Bell from Farm- ington, Utah. The couple met while attending Brigham Young University in Provo, and reside there now. Tyler is an avid vol- leyball player. He was a member of the Sea View league champi- onship team at Foothill, and went

on to play for the BYU NCAA volleyball team in 2012. He also served a two-year church mission in South Africa from 2009-2011. The couple is finishing their stud-

ies at BYU where Tyler will get his bachelor’s degree in manu- facturing engineering technology and Lizzy will complete her stud- ies in graphic design.
