Chance to win DVD of thriller

9 Out & About Craft festival set to make return

FESTIVAL: Made by Hand

AFTER a highly success- ful Made by Hand in 2014, the event’s organisers are pleased to announce that they will be bringing Wales’ largest contempo- rary craft festival back to Cardiff for a second year, from October, 30 to No- vember, 1, 2015. Spread across three days

CHARISMATIC Italian star Luca Zingaretti forsakes his familiar crime-fighting role as TV’s Inspector Montalba- no to play a character most definitely on the wrong side of the lawin Kidnapping: La Sfida (The Challenge). This emotionally charged thriller about kidnapping, guilt, redemption and the power of family ties comes to DVD courtesy of Odyssey. Heinz Hoenig (Das Boot) stars as Max Klausner, a wealthy workaholic Ger- man industrialist, whose young son Tommy is kid- napped while on holiday in Sardinia. The kidnapping is just one of the torments besetting Max; he begins to suspect the kidnappers’ identities and also faces blackmail from his shady business partner. As realisation sets in,

Max faces the toughest test of a father’s love; he must save his son. Refusing to pay the ransom, the police are shocked as Max returns to Berlin, but he has his own agenda. He hires former se- cret service agent Werner Shröder (Michael Degen – Hannah Arendt), who dis- covers that Tommy’s kid- napper, the Sardinian Toni- no Sanna (Zingaretti), and his henchman are holding the boy in a remote Tuscan hideout. Max’s ruthless business instincts pinpoint the lever-

age required to put intoler- able pressure on Tonino and secure Tommy’s release. This audacious move, how- ever, will have an outcome that impacts on Max’s emo- tional life in a way he’d nev- er expected. This poignant tale about a father’s dedica- tion is directed by Cinzia Th. Torrini (Hotel Colonial). Kidnapping: La Sfida also stars Matteo Urzia (Notte Prima Degli Esami) and cult icon Dalila Di Lazzaro (Oh, Serafina!). Wehave threeDVDs up for
