(Rickmansworth Sailing Club) at Troy Lake, West Hyde (off the Old Uxbridge Road from the A412 Denham Way). A chance to see beautiful classic 14-foot dinghies being raced on Troy Lake, a hidden gem in the bottom corner of Three Rivers. Enquiries to Paul Johnson (01923-770691).

WILDLIFE WANDER (Friends of the Withey Beds). Visit the Withey Beds, a special local nature reserve in Rickmansworth, as well as the beautiful lakes of the Watford Piscators. There will be guided tours of both unique sites, where you will be able to learn more about how they are managed to care for wildlife. Access will entail a 1½-mile walk along the Ebury Way (the trackbed of the old Watford to Rickmansworth LMS railway). Meet at the Batchworth Lock Centre, 99 Church Street, Rickmansworth, WD3 1JD.
