MOOR PARK MANSION open to the public (NADFAS Heritage Volunteers). NADFAS heritage volunteers from local societies conduct tours of this early 18th-century Grade I listed building, now owned by Moor Park Golf Club. Tours (N.B. The last one starts at 11 am) are free but donations to the Moor Park Heritage Foundation in support of preserving the Mansion would be appreciated. The Club’s dress code does not permit jeans or trainers. Other tour dates (all Thursdays) : 21st May, 25th June, 23rd July, 6th and 20th August, 17th September and 15th October. The Mansion is reached from the London Road (the A404 : main entrance on Batchworth Heath) or Moor Lane (the A4145: entrance to the Rickmansworth Public Golf Course) (postcode for satnavs : WD3 1QN).
