UPBEAT TIMES • May 2015 • 23 Horoscopes May 2015 by Yerevan readingsbyyerevan@gmail.com Aries (3/21 - 4/20)

Almost as if you didn’t have a say in it, so much is happening in your world with people and things shifting things about. You could even feel lifted so high up from your normal view that you’re feeling a bit disconnected from it all. Therefore, getting “grounded” could become very important to you this month, whatever that means to you. Finances and work opportunities are coming your way, but you have to decide if and how to use them. That could be a job in itself!

Taurus (4/21 - 5/20)

You may have come to a culmination of a major chapter in your life, and have begun a new one. There is hope and inspiration for new possibilities and you might be more open than usual to talking with certain loved ones about your feelings, or vice versa. For the most part the changes you’re ex- periencing are positive and life-affirming. Those that aren’t are likely showing up to help you release what no longer serves you. The best thing to do is go with your gut, do what feels right.

Gemini (5/21 - 6/20)

Early this month your attention could be on some aspect of your health, or the integra- tion of sweeping changes that have recently occurred in your home life. Work and mon- etary reward take priority over romance and frivolities. Relationships in general become a source of learning and renegotiation. Although you may have a lot of things to review and go over, new stability and good things are coming your way later this month as you prepare to enter your new year.

Cancer (6/21 - 7/22)

It could seem like a rather nebulous month for you in some ways, in which you find yourself unsure of what position to take or where to focus your energies. Although work might be a source of confusion, you can overcome many obstacles by allowing your intuition rather than emotions to guide you. Try to get as much done early month as possible while you have the most energy and vision. Relationships are a source of a healing and a romantic love could be very fulfilling.

Leo (7/23 - 8/22)

Family and home life are more important than usual this month. Relationships also begin to mend and improve even while other aspects of life, such as electronic appliances might seem wonky or out of control. You may find yourself in the spotlight but not necessarily for some- thing that you wanted recognition for. Your true satisfaction in work and career might be slightly delayed but not denied. Gratitude will go a long way in restoring the harmony in your life.

Virgo (8/23 - 9/22)

You may enjoy good times with your friends and community, as well as reconnect with long-lost loved ones and family members. Midmonth you may be tempted to leave town for a few days and just get away from it all. Work could be demanding or frustrating somehow, so a vacation would actually do you a lot of good if you can afford it. Even taking timeouts and making sure to feed your soul through art, music, or meditation will do wonders. Find relief from stress in simplicity.

Libra (9/23 - 10/22)

There are times when the material world seems slow, gross, and so mundane, until we fall in love with the marvelous beauty that we see in nature or another person. Beauty gives meaning to life and its strug- gles, which as a Venusian you are well aware of. This month saturate yourself in beauty, love, and divine inspiration that is brought into physical manifestation in myr- iad forms. Also, say what you mean, mean what you say, do what you want, and want what you have.

Scorpio (10/23 - 11/22)

It is likely to be a very positive month for you overall, although emotions could be running high. However intense your feelings might be, even the unpleasant ones are likely to lead to breakthroughs. Relationships are a highlight, either being the catalyst for your own growth and improvement or as a team. You won’t want to be hemmed in or confined to conditions at work or at home, and the great outdoors will become increasingly im- portant for you to connect with.

Sagittarius (11/23 - 12/21)

With your ruling planet Jupiter in an advan- tageous position this is likely to be a happy and fruitful month for you, especially during the first half. There might be a lot of unex- pected work and tasks that need tending so try to be ready for anything that might spring up and need attention. It might be neces- sary to put certain goals on hold and to just go with the flow of what needs to be done in the meantime. Surely there is fun to be had this month as well!

Capricorn (12/22 - 1/19)

Early month could be very successful with work or businesswise. Many of your new year’s resolutions have been set into mo- tion and a certain level of momentum has been achieved. Things might slow down a little toward the second half of the month so it would be best not to try anything new that affects your career until late June. Your relationships with family members are heightened and it could be a healing time with them. Enjoy taking it easy for a change.

Aquarius (1/20 - 2/18)

You could feel strongly ambitious and in- spired to move forward as the month be- gins, and then later find that you would like to stand back a bit and review things before proceeding further. This is all part of a natu- ral unfoldment of many of your abilities and gifts to the world. Be aware of those who might try to get a rise out of you or somehow agitate you as you seek to progress. Just refuse to let the negativity of others drag you down, trust and be yourself all the way.

Pisces (2/19 - 3/20)

You could get the sense that others are somehow challenging your viewpoint or your stance on something important to you. Don’t lose your footing over a petty dis- agreement or temporary moment of doubt. Work shouldn’t change too drastically. You could alternate between craving time alone in the tranquility of nature and being close with loved ones. What this really means is that self-nurturing is especially helpful for you now, maybe with a favorite movie, food or books.

Santa Rosa, CA. ~ Many times I will have clients come in for help because they are applying for some type of government job. Besides hav- ing to navigate a government (city or county) website, which can be confusing, almost all government applications have supplemental questions. These questions (usually one to five) are extremely important. They carry a great deal of weight when applicants are considered for the next step in the employ- ment process.

Read the questions carefully and answer them as much as possible in relation to your skills and experience.

don’t want to write a book but you also don’t want to be so brief that your skills and ex- perience are discounted. It is also important to read the job description carefully and more than once. Important qualifi- cations can be missed unless there is a thorough reading. Remember: the supplemental questions give you the opportu- nity to highlight your skills and put your best foot forward.
