‘Advanced Gourmet Explorer’ course which will fi ne-tune your cooking skills and take them to a much higher level. Taught by four-star chefs who run their own prestigious restaurants nearby, French House Party’s cooking classes use fresh, seasonal ingredients and focus on mastering classic recipes – often with a modern twist. The courses also provides the opportunity to taste some of the world-class wines produced in the region, and visit one of the traditional food markets which have been held in the area for centuries. Each holiday also includes a trip to the stunning medieval town of Carcassonne, and the longer courses are broken up by rural visits to cheese-making farms and olive groves. If you want to improve your French while you’re cooking, then you’ll be pleased to know that the classes are conducted in both English and French, so you can fl ex your linguistic muscles as much as you like. And after a good day’s cooking, you’ve earned a dip in the


private pool followed by dinner on the terrace, where you can enjoy the fruits of your labours late into the starry night.
