The swimming programme run by East Renfrewshire Council is proving a real splash hit – and it’s about to get even better.


The Learn to Swim programme has already taught thousands of people to swim in the area’s four pools.


The Learn to Swim programme is helping to deliver a lasting legacy for sport locally.


There are now extensive programmes at all four pools, which are now fully open for business.


There is a variety of classes for every age group of children, children with disabilities and adults.


Youngsters can work their way through the Ocean Orbit swim scheme, with Little Splashers (pay as you go) aimed at tots aged three months to three years, right through different levels, each one building up competence, confidence and technique. These are up to the age of 16.


Ocean Orbit is available for children up to the age of 12 and rises to age 16 when you add the other swimming activities we provide.


To apply you must complete an application form, in person, at any of our centres (excludes little splashers) or for more information please contact the relevant swimming co-ordinator.
