Clevedon Civic Society


Clevedon Civic Society promises an excellent variety of speakers for the year 2015. The January public meeting and AGM will be held on Thursday January 8th when there is an illustrated talk by Peter Lamb who will focus on the development of electricity in the major towns in the South West between 1850 and 1910.


The Society’s popular Local History Group will meet on Thursday January 15th


when Jane


and Derek Lilly will speak about “Mary’s Garden”. This intriguing talk will recall the history of two cottages and gardens that used to exist near Cadbury Camp, Tickenham.
