An 100-bed, faith-based facility, the Calvary Place Personal Care Home is looking for a recreation facilitator to offer creative and enriching pro- gramming to the residents of Calvary Place.


The successful candidate will help imagine pro- grams that will enhance the residents’ physical, social and mental well-being and will provide on- going assessments of their impact on residents.


A recreation facilitator for older adults certificate or similar education is desired, as with computer literacy and administrative knowledge. Singing and/or musical ability is an asset.

The not-for profit agency Changes works with high-risk individuals with a variety of physical disabilities and mental health issues at their homes and in the community. The company is expanding and is seeking staff for daytime


hours, evenings, weekends, and overnights on a full- and part-time basis.


Successful candidates will support individuals in a variety of community-based contexts while assisting them to develop social and recreation opportunities and relevant life skills.


A valid First Aid certificate, driver’s licence, and access to a vehicle is required.


3 Manitoba community service worker


The successful applicant will provide support and coordinate services for individuals with disabili- ties in their home and in the community using a person-centred approach.


A degree in social work or social sciences is preferred.


This is a Manitoba government position, and salary will be commensurate with experience and education, ranging from $51,765 to $71,794.


A six-month eligibility list may also be created for similar regular, term, or full-time/part-time positions.
