Tree for the money Hot job markets to watch in Manitoba this month 1
Human Resource Management Association of Manitoba
The Human Resource Management Associa- tion of Manitoba (HRMAM) recently under- took a new strategic plan, creating a need for a new events & marketing coordinator to join its team. You’ll be able to lend your event and marketing skills to a diverse range of projects; implement creative ideas to enhance events, programs, and materials; and help increase the association's awareness in Manitoba. For more information on the job listing, visit
hrmam.org.
www.smartcareers.ca 2 Fusion Communications Group Inc.
Social media pros and ad copy whizzes are encouraged to apply for the advertising
copywriter and social media strategist posi- tion at Fusion. Ideally, you have 2+ years of experience copywriting (preferably in an ad agency environment), and are confident roll- ing out social media strategies across many platforms and evaluating their efficiency. Interested applicants may send a resume, 3-5 copywriting samples, 2-3 social media samples and a haiku (!) that describes you as a person.
3 Technical writing
Randstad and Buhler Industries Inc. were recently looking for technical writers to
develop and execute internal and external communications on the web and maintain their communications materials, while the publisher Phoenix Communications, with its more than 20 trade publications, was on the hunt for an experienced writer/editor. These writing gigs are far more common than say, a Winnipeg Free Press posting, as businesses are recognizing the value of good communication.
