Bookstart packs are


ookstart is a national book gifting programme which aims to give every child a lifelong love of books and reading. It encourages parents to share books with their children from an early age and helps promote the benefits of libraries to families. Bookstart packs are free for every eligible child in the county and children will get 2 packs before they go to school.


B Bookstart Baby pack – given out by your health visitor at the birth health check. Bookstart Treasure pack – given to your 3-4 year old child by their pre-school or nursery.
