We are looking for additional Trustees to join our busy team.


Homeless Care (formerly Maidstone Christian Care) is an important local charity that runs a Day Centre providing daily services to homeless and vulnerable people.


Our short term aim is to provide immediate help to men and women who are homeless; the long term objective is to help them back into Society. We also operate, Food for Thought, a project that collects food from supermarkets and other sources and redistributes it to individuals and families in need.


Charity Trustees provide direction and governance for our organisation which aims to make a positive difference to the lives of some of the most disadvantaged people in our community.


The Charity Commission encourages charities to recruit as trustees, men and women with particular experiences and skills. This is not intended to limit candidates but to ensure those who become Trustees can make a worthwhile contribution. Homeless Care Trustees are unpaid.
