NEILSTON LEISURE CENTRE


MON 23 JUN – SUN 17 AUG SWIMMING 3 – 12 years There are no summer crash courses in Neilston Leisure Centre. The normal block lessons will continue throughout the summer. Spaces are available for the summer block. The 30 minute lessons are based on the Ocean Orbit Swim Scheme. Blocks run for 8 weeks. Mon, Wed & Fri, 4pm – 6pm Tue 4pm – 5pm Sat 9am – 12pm £31.20 standard / £18.70 concession The block price includes a 25% reduction due to customers taking summer holidays.


EVERY FRIDAY LITTLE SPLASHERS up to 3 years The class aims to encourage children up to 3 years in water confidence with exercises, basic water movements and of course lots of fun and games. There are a limited number of spaces in this class and it is on a first-come first-served basis. 9.45am £5.60 standard / £4.70 All Access / £2.85 concession


TUE 24 JUN – 12 AUG AQUA ZONE 8 – 16 years This class encourages children to participate in fun aquatic activities in the water such as diving, tumble turns or swimming with flippers. 6.45pm – 7.45pm £41.60 per 8 week block standard / £24.80 concession


Children should be able to swim 50 metres front and 25 metres on back and be confident in deep water. These sessions will be in deep water at all times. The coach- led sessions follow structured lesson plans aimed at those who wish to feel part of a club and have fun at the same time.


THU 3 & 24 JUL DISTANCE AWARD SESSION LESS THAN 200M 3 – 12 years This award is an incentive to encourage children to work towards achieving longer distances.


10am – 11am Booking must be made at least 24hrs prior to the session as they run on demand. £1.95 session admission plus additional £2 for cost of medal once distance has been achieved.

WED 9 & 23 JUL LAND DIVING (DIVING FROM POOLSIDE) 8 – 16 years 12pm – 1pm These sessions will teach children the basics. Children must be able to swim 50 metres. £5.20 standard / £3.10 concession


FRI 11 & 25 JUN BLOCK DIVING (DIVING FROM STARTING BLOCKS) 8 – 16 years 11am – 12pm These sessions will teach children the basics. An advancement from poolside diving. Children must be able to swim 50 metres. £5.20 standard / £3.10 concession
