DANCE CLASSES - YOUTH Parent & Me Dance
Parent and child will participate together in this class designed to involve the parent in the very beginning process of dance training with your child. This class will include creative pre-school exercises, song and dance routines, and dance related games. Participants in this course are invited to the City of Anaheim’s Annual Dance Recital at Pearson Park Theatre on June 8, 2014. Recital Participation is optional and costumes can be purchased from the instructor when the class begins. Please talk to your instructor for recital details. Instructor: CF Dance Academy Staff.

Parent & Me Dance and Tumble
Parents will help guide their child in tap, ballet and floor tumbling. Your dancer will have fun exploring their creativity, while developing coordination and learning basic dance steps. Please bring dancer in a leotard and tights or T-shirt and leggings. Students will receive free dance shoe rental for tap and ballet shoes upon availability. Parents dress comfortable. Princess Ballet
Your little ballerina will pretend that they are their favorite princess dancing with wands, flowers and crowns (provided by the dance studio). Tiny Tot Creative Ballet
Children will be introduced to basic ballet movements while developing coordination, body control, and self-discipline. EACC & DTCC parents will be allowed to observe at the first and last class only. CFDA parents will be allowed to watch the first class of each month. Parents will be allowed to observe the first and last class only. Students in this course are invited to participate in an optional Summer Demonstration. Ballet & Tap Combo
Children will learn and continue to develop the beginning techniques of ballet and tap dancing, as well as improve their coordination, posture, balance, and gracefulness in this class. Students will be placed into levels of class based on age or by ability (recommendation of the teacher required if student is younger than the required age). Ballet
Awaken your child to a creative and enriching introduction to ballet. Children will learn rhythm, body and special awareness as well as posture. Your child will learn the graceful steps of ballet and be able to use them in a ballet song choreographed by the instructor. Students will have the chance at the end of the session to present the dance they learned to their family. A leotard and ballet shoes are needed for this class. Instructor: FCP Staff.
